Luang Phor Nen Kumpiro is a senior monk from Wat Bankasettoongsetti, Ponetong District, Roi-edtProvince

He recently created a special series of sacred amulets called Guman Thong Doodrok Maha Setti Trimas B.E.2551 amulets to gain support and funds towards the construction of Tongtheptarnsetti chedi.

Luang Poo Nen ’s Guman Thong amulets are  respected for the inherent power to protect worshippers , from enemies, danger whilst at the same time call upon better fortune.

As is customary of LP Nen, he strictly followed the ancient sacred sciences, which he learnt from Karnchanaburi and Supunburi Provinces. It was here that the legend of Khun Paen originated.

As such he selected many kinds of specific materials to create these amulets including old Hoon Payont amulets, graveyard nails (collected from only coffins of dead pregnant women), graveyard soils, corpse-moving steel wires (which were used to move corpses during cremations, Mit Tudtrasung (knives, which were used to cut the cords on  the hands of the deceased.)

Moreover many kinds of sacred Yant were also used to create these amulets such as Yant Chukhun Kumarntong, Yant Kumnerd-arkarn32, Yant Gunpai, Yant Mahaniyom, Yant Chokelarp.

These spells were engraved by LP Nen onto the bodies of each amulet during many many ceremonies.

The final ceremony organized at midnight in the graveyard where the soldl of the guman was called to take up residence in the idol.

Eventually all of amulets were filled inside the base with many kinds of sacred powder including seven-graveyard soil, Wan Kumarntong, Kafakruk, Kafakkoon, Kafakmayom and a further nine Thai plants and a silver Takrut engraved with asacred spell called “Na Ngernma”.

Pim LP Chong Nua Wan Pasom BE 2506 (Includes Certificate) Wednesday, Jul 1 2009

Known As Pim LP Chong Nua Waan Pasom Pong Bangkhunprom, and in superb condition.  Amulet is made from a mixture of very auspicious components including fragments of many ancient amulets, Somdej Bang Khun Prom, Somdej Wat Rakhang and Luang Phor Thuad B.E.2497.

Hundreds of monks attended the blessing ceremony including some of the most famous monks ever known in Thai history, making these amulets simply some of the very best that money can buy, what’s more they are still sensibly priced. This particular amulet was especially blessed by LP Chong of Wat Natangnok.

Wat Rakhang Pim Chedi BE 2495 Wednesday, Jul 1 2009

Beautiful amulet blessed by Luang Phor Nak in BE 2495, known as Pim Chedi , made from Wat Rakhang sacred powders. Luang Pho Nak is well known for his efficacous somdej amulets having studied ancient texts and manuscripts, in particular LP Toh’s magic book. This example is a really beautiful example, not often seen in such good condition.

Luang Phor Nak was born on August 1st, B.E.2427, to the family of Mr.Pom Marurngsit and Mrs.Suan Marurngsit, locals of Nakonrachsima Province. He was ordained a novice when he was a young teenager at Wat Bung, Nakonrachsima Province. In B.E.2448, he was officially ordained a Buddhist monk at Wat Rakhang Kositaram, Bangkok, aged 21. Since then Luang Phor Nak has dedicated his life to serve the temple and all Buddhists. One important deed that is often associated with Luang Phor Nak whilst at the temple, was that he used to collect all the discarded sacred objects. This simple action was to become increasingly more important as the years went by. The general Thai belief at that time was any sacred objects that had become damaged, such as shrines, amulets, water bowls etc should not be kept at home, for the fear of bringing bad luck. These objects would often be returned to the temple.

Luang Phor Nak did not like to see these kinds of scared objects mixed with the general trash, and as such he used to collect and preserve in his monks house.

He also did not want to see sacred amulets that had been damaged, destroyed needlessly. He decided to recycle this raw material to create new amulets. It was his belief that every single atom of the old amulets had been infused with sacred power, broken or not.  Essentially these materials having already been blessed by some of the greatest living monks were priceless.

Obviously we know today, that he was right, and are grateful for his foresight. As the disciple of Somdej Phra Buddhacharn Toh, it is no surprise that his newly created amulets followed the procedures exactly as laid down by this great monk.

Incidentally some people have said that Luang Phor Nak was not a disciple of Phra Buddhacharn Toh, as he was not even born when the great monk had died. This is simply not an accurate assessment. Knowledge is passed from generation to generation and LP Nak studied ancient texts and manuscripts, in particular LP Toh’s magic book, and as such is known as a true disciple.

Particularly famous and very popular are his amulets created during the period BE 2485- BE2495. Prices have increased sharply in recent years, and will continue to do so. These amulets are not only popular in Thailand, but worldwide, many people having experienced the sacred power and protection that these amulets afford. Many people have made a comparison between these amulets and the original Phra Somdej Bangkhunprom amulets, some of the most sacred in Thai history.

Such is the popularity; these amulets are fast disappearing from the markets. We would highly recommend that you preserve any examples that you may possess. These amulets can be considered real treasures, which in the future only the wealthy will be able to afford.

Just a word of caution; As a result of the increased popularity and high demand, many fakes are flooding the market.  Be sure to only purchase from recognized dealers.

On January 15th, B.E.2514, Luang Phor Nak passed away at Sirirach Hospital, Bangkok, aged 87, and having served Buddhism for 66 years.

Takrut Tone LP Od Wednesday, Jul 1 2009

As with so many great guru monks, its quite unfortunate that little is known about this monk outside of Thailand.

Luang Phor Ode created many kinds of sacred amulets such as Takrut, Phra Pitda, Somdej, Rien sacred wax, mouth amulets, and sacred sands.

This particular amulet is a beautiful example of one of his takruts blessed in BE 2526, and now quite rare, particularily in such good condition. Excellent for protection gainst danger, evil and black magic

Amongst his many teachers were Luang Phor Doem of Wat Nongpo, Luang Phor Prom of Wat Chongkair and Luang Phor Chain of Wat Singh.

He was highly respected in Nakhon Sawan province and today his amulets are in great demad.

Phra Somdej (White) Wednesday, Jul 1 2009

In a recent archaeological dig at Wat Klong Khom, Supanburi, a number of his amulets were retrieved from the base of the Chedi. The temple records show that Luang Phor Suk had visited his student Luang Phor Umm to consecrate and chant this batch of amulets, which were to be used to help raise funds for the renovation of the temple.

Luang Phor Suk, was a revered and highly respected old time guru monk . He was particularly famous for his Wichah, which he had learnt from Ajahn Thumwuadaeng, who incidentally was also the teacher of Luang Phor Ngern. It was said that he had the ability to change the sizes and shapes of an object.

Phra Pitda Jumbo Ga-Na-Ga-Na-Kaang (Fung Takrut) Wednesday, Jul 1 2009

Pra Pitda amulets blessed by Luang Phor Toh of Wat Praduchimplee are expensive and often beyond the budget of average collectors. An excellent alternative are a series of Pra Pitda amulets blessed at Wat Salakruen. Luang Phor Toh was one of two senior monks responsible for the creation and blessing, the other being Luang Phor Utama. This particular Jumbo version is in beautiful condition and features a tkarut embedded in the reverse.

These amulets are now highly popular and like those created at Wat Praduchimplee are becoming increasingly more expensive.

This series of amulets were blessed by many senior monks and the first of three sacred ceremonies was held on January 25^th BE 2522 at Wat Rachpatumwanaram (Wat Tar-makam) where monks from nine provinces attended.

Karnchanaburi Province: Luang Phor Utama, Luang Phor Tiang, Luang Phor Ban, Luang Phor Kliang, Luang Phor Lum-yai, Luang Phor Nart and all abbots in the province.

Bangkok: Luang Poo Toh, Luang Por Bunnark, Luang Poo Jew, Luang Phor Tui

Singburi Province: Luang Phor Juan

Samutsakorn Province: Luang Phor Sud

Rachburi Province: Abbot of Wat Wung Manao

Nakorn Pathom Province: Abbot of Wat Raiking

Nontaburi Province: Luang Phor Mee

Arngtong Province: Luang Phor Klai

Supanburi Province: Luang Phor Tira

The amulets were further blessed between January 26th, to February 2 B.E.2522, at Wat Rachpatumwanaram. Those in attendance were:

Luang Phor Utama, Luang Phor Tiang, Luang Phor Lek, Luang Phor Ban, Luang Phor Kliang, Luang Phor Lum-yai, Luang Phor Nart, Luang Phor Cham, Luang Phor Tui, Luang Phor Sud, Luang Phor Jew, Luang Phor Kee, Luang Phor Juan, Luang Por Tira, Luang Phor Krai, Prarach Punyaporn, Prakru Praditnavakarn and Luang Poo Toh.

Between 06.00 pm – 09.00 pm. on January 26th, B.E.2522, Luang Poo Toh and Luang Por Utama, joined to recite sacred spells in order to transfer power into the amulets.

Furthermore a sacred ceremony was held on February 3rd, B.E.2522, at Wat Salakruen. Thosein attendance were; Prarach Pun-yasuthi (HeadMonk of Karnchanaburi Province), Prakru Sopondharmarungsi (Vice Head Monks of Karnchanaburi Province), Pra Samuvichian (abbot of Wat Salakern), Luang Phor Utama (abbot of Wat Wunviwaykaram) and many other sacred monks.

Phra Kring Chaloenkorn Wednesday, Jul 1 2009

Phra Kring blessed by Luang phor Yit in BE 2537. All his amulets are much sought after and this is a beautiful example of a now rare amulet. We obtained this Phra Kring directly from the temple and as such authenticity is assured.

Luang Phor Yit was a very strict monk following Lord Buddhas laws very strictly indeed. Actually it was also recorded that he showered only once a year on the dark-moon Sunday of the fourth month, when his disciples would organize a showering ceremony for him.

After the ceremony he would donate many sacred amulets, some of which are highly treasured today and in particular by the police force of Prachuap Kirikan province.

Many amulets are known to have saved the live’s of law enforcement officers; indeed some of his rien have been so efficacious that they have been popularly renamed. It would be unusual to find a local police officer that did not own or wear one of his amulets.

The amulets which made him famous throughout the kingdom however were his Palad Khik and they are highly sought after even today.

Palad Khik Tuokerdsittichoke Wednesday, Jul 1 2009

Luang Phor Kruba Dharmamuni Thitadharmo, is a senior monk at Wat Suanpa Buddha Stansupraditmethi, Mahasarakam Province. He has just created a series of Palad Khik amulets called “Palad Khik -Tuokerdsittichoke ”.

This monk has been praised as a magic-science expert of Jumpasri ancient city and as such he was very careful in creation of this series of amulets, which are made from many kinds of sacred materials but particularly sacred metal plates obtained from an old Khmer temple.

Kruba Dharmamuni named his version of Palad Khik as Tuokerdsittichoke because he thought that Palad Khik amulets, were a symbolization of the origin of all good fortune in the life of a human.

Nang-kwak blessed by Luang Phor Kant, almost identical to those created by his master, Luang Phor Doem. Carved from genuine /solid ivory. A great example in mint condition.
The image on the reverse is a that of Lord Buddha (Sakyamuni) in a standing pose with arm raised a gesture imparting fearlessness.
